Asgard is guarded by Heimdall. He will not let you enter unless you have the Runestone he seeks.
In Norse religion and Norse mythology, Asgard (Old Norse: Įsgaršr) is the country or capital city of the Ęsir. In the most ancient view, the Ęsir were the gods. Etymologically, Asgard means the yard or enclosure of the spirits and is not an earthly place.
Within Asgard, there are 2 other noteworthy areas. Valhalla, Odin's hall in Norse mythology, is the home for those slain gloriously in battle (known as Einherjar), where Valkyries and Berserkers (who are also sons of Odin) can exchange corpses for Spells and Magical Weapons [based on the corpse's Einherjar value].
The other location is the Iving River. Past the Iving River, is Jotunheim.
